Northeast Deaf Golf Association, Inc.
As President of the Northeast Deaf Golf Association, I would like to take this opportunity to extend a warm welcome to you all, for the 13th Annual Northeast Deaf Golf Association Golf Tournament at the Westover Golf Course in Granby, MA on October 15, 16 and 17, 2010. I would like to make a comment that we are apologizing for changing the dates of August to October because most NEDGA officers were not able to come to the golf tournament due to their commitments with other events of August.
As you know Westover Golf Club is an 18 hole golf course representing Massachusetts
golf at its finest. The course is a challenging 18 hole championship golf course with a
strong traditional course and each green being guarded by both sand and grass
bunkers. I am certain that all of you will definitely enjoy golfing at the finest course which
is one of the few courses listed as “Top 10 New Courses You Can Play” by Golf
Magazine in the State of Massachusetts.
Jim McNeill and John Vaughn have coordinated the 13th Annual as Co-Chairpersons of the
NEDGA. They have done the best they can to make this tournament a success. I really
appreciate all the NEDGA officers’ assistance in accomplishing this event.
Speaking of the hotels in the Granby area, I strongly advise you to make a call to one of
four hotels as soon as possible because the price will go up due to the Foliage
season.
Also, I wish to thank our members, area golfers, and friends for their support and invite
all to experience the best available in 2010. I hope you will find the 2010 golf tournament
to be the most enjoyable one ever. Again, I hope that seeing old friends and meeting
new ones will make your golf vacation memorable this year in Granby, Massachusetts.
I hope you enjoy your tournament as well as the beautiful city of Granby. I also wish you
a successful and memorable time here.
Happy Golfing,
H. Dee Clanton
NEDGA President
